DeepCool AK700 VC Black - a vapor chamber in a single tower, with seven heatpipes and 2700 RPM of fan.
The AK700 VC replaces the usual flat cold plate with a vapor chamber, which spreads heat across the base far faster before it reaches the fins. Seven 6mm heatpipes carry it up a dense single-tower stack, and the 120mm PWM fan runs up to 2700 RPM for 80.37 CFM at 4.98 mmAq, with DeepCool quoting 36.0 dB(A) at full speed. It uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing and a three-phase, 12-slot fan motor. Dimensions are 126 x 98 x 157mm at 1248g, and it fits Intel LGA1851, 1700, 1200, 115X and AMD AM5.
Key Features
-
Vapor chamber base — Spreads heat laterally across the base before it climbs the heatpipes - the 'VC' in the name.
-
Seven 6mm heatpipes — A dense single-tower fin stack fed by seven pipes rather than the usual four or six.
-
120mm PWM fan, up to 2700 RPM — 80.37 CFM at 4.98 mmAq, the highest airflow figure in DeepCool's AK700 range.
-
Three-phase 12-slot motor — Smoother rotational torque and less vibration than a conventional fan motor.
-
Fluid Dynamic Bearing — Runs quieter and lasts longer than a sleeve bearing, with 36.0 dB(A) quoted at full speed.
-
126 x 98 x 157mm, 1248g — Narrow enough to keep memory and graphics card clearance.
-
Intel and AMD mounting — Intel LGA1851, 1700, 1200, 115X and AMD AM5.

Who it's for
For a build where a vapor chamber base plus seven heatpipes suits a hot CPU, but a dual-tower cooler would not fit.
