DeepCool FD12 ARGB V2 - a closed-wheel 120mm ARGB fan tuned for airflow without the noise.
The FD12 ARGB V2 is DeepCool's closed-wheel 120mm fan: the blades are joined by a fully enclosed tip ring that matches the open frame, which focuses airflow and cuts the dead zones a conventional open-blade fan leaves at the corners. It runs 500 to 1900 RPM on a 4-pin PWM connector for 56.31 CFM at 1.48 mmAq, with noise measured at 26.57 dB(A) or less from the front and 24.27 dB(A) or less from the side. The frame is PBT and the blades polycarbonate, on a Hydro bearing, with nine addressable RGB LEDs around the hub on a 3-pin (+5V-D-G) ARGB cable so the lighting radiates from the face and the sides. DeepCool backs the FD ARGB V2 series with a three-year warranty.
Key Features
-
Closed fan wheel — Enclosed blade-tip ring in an open frame - focused airflow, fewer dead zones, stronger blades.
-
500-1900 RPM on 4-pin PWM — A full PWM range rather than a fixed 12V fan; 56.31 CFM at 1.48 mmAq.
-
Quiet in both directions — 26.57 dB(A) or less from the front, 24.27 dB(A) or less from the side.
-
Nine ARGB LEDs — Addressable lighting around the hub that shows on the face and the sides, 3-pin (+5V-D-G).
-
PBT frame, polycarbonate blades — Hydro bearing and a consistent, quieter sound profile; three-year DeepCool warranty.

What's in the box
- 1x FD12 ARGB V2 120mm fan (4-pin PWM + 3-pin ARGB)
- Mounting screws
- Requires a motherboard ARGB header or an ARGB controller
Who it's for
A case fan that has to move real air through a filter or a mesh front but still light up from the side, without the open-blade drone.
