MSI HERALD BE9400 - WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 on a single PCIe x1 slot.
The HERALD BE9400 is a PCIe x1 card that adds WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 to a desktop. It runs 2x2 across all three bands: 688Mbps on 2.4GHz, 2882Mbps on 5GHz and 5764Mbps on 6GHz, with external high-gain antennas on a cable so they can be moved away from the case. The card is 120 x 70mm, supports WPA3 and needs Windows 11.
Key Features
-
WiFi 7 tri-band — 5764Mbps on 6GHz and 2882Mbps on 5GHz, 2x2.
-
Bluetooth 5.4 — One card covers wireless and Bluetooth, so no dongle in a front port.
-
External antenna on a cable — The aerial sits on the desk where the signal is, not behind the case.
-
PCIe x1 — Fits the smallest slot on the board.
-
WPA3 — WPA3-Personal and Enterprise, plus WPA2 for older routers.
